Provided it was purchased from an Authorized McIntosh Dealer in the US or Canada, McIntosh Laboratory, Inc. (“McIntosh”) warrants that, at its option, McIntosh will either repair or replace the accompanying Product should it fail due to a defect in workmanship or materials while in the possession of its original owner. McIntosh does not warrant in any way Products purchased from anyone who is not an Authorized McIntosh Dealer, nor is this Warranty transferable by the original owner. McIntosh’s sole obligation under this Warranty shall be to repair or replace the Product. McIntosh does not warrant against, nor shall it be liable for: removal or installation charges; shipping expenses either to or from McIntosh; loss of use; property damage of any kind; or other incidental or consequential damages or losses of any kind.
Note: Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so the foregoing exclusions may not apply to you.
This Warranty does not cover failures arising from accident, catastrophe, misuse, neglect, or failure to properly install, connect, and operate the Product; and McIntosh shall have no liability or obligation of any kind with respect to any of the foregoing types of failures. Provided, further, that where required by state law applicable at the time of purchase, instead of commencing on the date of purchase the foregoing warranties shall commence on the date specified in such law.
To obtain service under this Warranty, the owner must deliver or ship the Product, together with its original sales receipt, to McIntosh at the address below or by registering online at www.mcintoshlabs.com. The owner must pay for: removing the Product from its installation; delivery of the Product to McIntosh; return of the Product or its replacement by McIntosh; and any reinstallation which may be required.
