In 1949 Mr. Mac and partner Gordon Gow quite literally reinvented the common audio amplifier, achieving a level of fidelity previously unattainable. In recognition of our 60th Anniversary McIntosh is building 60 Limited Edition Systems per country featuring the classic C22 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier and MC75 Vacuum Tube Monoblock Amplifiers. Designed to function as a superb line stage, phono preamplifier, equalizer and input switch, the C22 forged a standard of features and flexibility for future McIntosh preamplifier designs that endures to this day. 		McIntosh "...for the love of music..." book: This gorgeous, hardbound coffee table book traces the history of McIntosh Laboratory from humble beginnings in 1949 to present day status as manufacturer of Legendary audio products.
